Position Summary
This position is for a senior Programmer analyst that can collaborate with business analysts and colleagues to produce software designs, program specifications and basic prototypes. This individual must be able to transform software designs and specifications int high functioning code in the appropriate language. This individual will be working on the eClaims application. This individual will work in cross functional teams and independently to complete analysis, programming, and testing of changes to the eClaims application. This individual will be called upon to create flowcharts, diagrams, and the documentation related to the integration, use, and testing of the application and related interfaces.
Essential Functions
Perform analysis of requirements for assigned work orders. Perform due diligence and produce solutions that meet the requirements of assigned work orders. Produce statements of work that summarize work order requirements and provide a detailed description of the proposed solution for review and approval by senior project stakeholders and management. Perform coding and testing of changes to the application that meet all specified requirements of assigned work orders and tasks. Perform eClaims application DBA work in support of assigned teamwork orders and tasks. Work individually or in a team to complete all assigned tasks n time and in accordance with management and corporate direction and policies. Participated in cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance and expertise related to assigned work orders and general user requirements feasibility assessment. Lead small technical teams providing guidance, expertise, and training needed to complete assigned work orders and eClaims internal tasks. Produce accurate, current documentation related to the integration, use and testing of the application.

Essential Functions
Education and Experience
- Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Must have 5+ years of development experience with the following the Unix or Linux platform:
- CBL. MF CBL experience preferred.
- Java SE. Experience with JAVA EE r the Spring Framework a plus. bash or ksh shell programming
- Must be proficient with MS office products.
- 3+ years of experience with RDBMS application development (i.e. PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2, oracle). DB2 application development experience preferred.
- Must be able to produce high quality, easily understandable documentation targeted at both the technical and user communities.
- Experience with cross-platform applications and interfaces.
- Experience writing use cases, test clients, and test scenarios.
- Experience working with r administering DB2. Especially working with stored procedures and functions is preferred.
- Experience with Fedra and AIX preferred.
- Experience writing API client and server code using SA r RESTful architectures preferred.
- Experience with Source Cde Control Systems (SCCS) such as Git and CVS.
