Mid to Senior Level Cost Analyst

Overview

Individuals will perform a wide variety of cost and economic analyses, estimating, what-if drills, impact statements, and engineering studies for a variety of Army managed programs. A successful candidate should be able to lead the cost estimating activities for the Milestone decision.

Responsibilities

Work may include:

• Parametric cost estimating
• Life cycle cost analysis
• Cost estimating relationships and model development
• Cost risk analysis
• Cost-benefit analysis
• Performance measurement (earned value)
• Project forecasting and risk assessment
• Software cost estimating
• Salary Range: $60,000 - $130,000/Year, DOE

Skills Required

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with excellent quantitative and analytical skills with considerable growth potential.

• Varying years of experience in analysis and technical management may qualify for a range of Tecolote job categories
• 8 or more equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management are required
• Must have experience developing a Life Cycle Cost estimate using Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) in support of a Milestone decision
• Experience with generating milestone documentation is a plus
• Good communication skills and familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition policies are required
• DoD secret security clearance required

Education

Bachelors degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
