Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist Job Specialty: SLP Outpatient Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00), Monday to Friday Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience; experience in adult and pediatric inpatient and outpatient required License: SLP license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Accredited SLP credential program (includes masters)- 1 year of acute experience in inpatient/outpatient settings Job Description: - Provide direct patient care through organizing and conducting medically prescribed speech therapy programs.- Focus on restoring function related to swallowing, speech, cognitive abilities, and voice for both adult and pediatric populations.- Work in an acute care hospital setting with a Magnet, Teaching, Level II Trauma Center designation.- No on-call duties or floating within the facility or to sister facilities.- Position does not accommodate a block schedule.- Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements, including booster, with no exemptions allowed.- Complete non-billable orientation and required modules during orientation.- Adhere to a professional dress code of business casual or scrubs with a white lab coat on top.
