The Electrical Superintendent is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical aspects of construction projects. This role involves ensuring that electrical installations meet master specifications, standard installation details, and NEC codes, while promoting a culture of safety and maintaining compliance with project schedules and standards. The Electrical Superintendent will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and various stakeholders to ensure the efficient and timely completion of electrical systems and will play a crucial role in project commissioning and startup.

The Electrical Superintendent is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical aspects of construction projects. The Electrical Superintendent will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and various stakeholders to ensure the efficient and timely completion of electrical systems and will play a crucial role in project commissioning and startup.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical teams and subcontractors. Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for electrical personnel. Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.
- Project Oversight: Plan, schedule, and oversee electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Review and approve electrical designs, blueprints, and schematics.
- Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of electrical systems and practices.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and controls. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and inspect electrical work to ensure it meets industry standards and specifications. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of electrical work and system performance.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage electrical project budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs. Procure and manage necessary tools, equipment, and supplies for electrical work.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical systems and semiconductor manufacturing.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you and your role.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and semiconductor manufacturing processes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex electrical issues. Ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, management, and external vendors. Ability to prepare clear and detailed reports and documentation.
- Safety and Compliance: Thorough understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations. Experience with safety protocols and risk management practices.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy in electrical work and project execution.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication equipment and systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of relevant software tools and systems for project management and electrical design.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work environments. Willingness to stay current with advancements in electrical technology and semiconductor industry practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Journeymen's license preferred, not required.
