We are seeking a Clinical Content Lead with a background in oncology pharmacy, a strong interest in informatics, and proficiency with clinical data tools and coding for data management. This role will leverage your clinical, data, and informatics expertise to develop high-quality, evidence-based content, integrating real-world data, clinical guidelines, and digital health insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop an evidence-based content strategy that integrates clinical guidelines and data from tools like DailyMed, Epocrates, and other medical reference resources.
- Use informatics and data tools to identify and prioritize oncology-related topics based on patient, caregiver and clinician needs, focusing on treatment insights, safety profiles, and medication management.
- Create and maintain a content calendar that includes clinical updates, medication guides, drug interaction information, and decision-support resources for oncology care.
- Author, review, and edit high-quality, data-driven clinical content on oncology treatments, drug interactions, side-effect management, and supportive care.
- Utilize clinical data tools (DailyMed, Epocrates) and guidelines (e.g., NCCN, ASCO) to ensure content accuracy, up-to-date information, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the digital health team to develop and maintain coding scripts (e.g., Python, SQL) to automate data management tasks, streamline content updates, and manage large datasets from medical and clinical resources.
- Employ data analytics to monitor content performance and engagement, using insights to optimize topics, delivery methods, and user interaction.
- Use coding skills to analyze and refine data inputs, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multimedia and digital formats.
- Collaborate with the digital health team to develop interactive tools and resources that personalize and enhance patient education on complex oncology topics.
- Ensure all content aligns with current clinical guidelines and meets standards for evidence-based medicine, clinical ethics, and patient privacy.
- Partner with compliance and regulatory teams to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards when integrating data from clinical sources.
- Maintain data integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and digital health records, in line with HIPAA and other relevant standards.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure integration of the latest oncology data, clinical guidelines, and patient feedback into content strategy.
- Collaborate with internal leadership team and external advisor team to assure accuracy, relevance and consistency across clinical oncology content.
- Mentor junior writers and cross-functional team members on utilizing clinical data tools, managing data integrity, and adhering to coding standards for data management.
- Represent Manta Cares as a subject-matter expert on informatics, data tools, and evidence-based oncology at relevant industry conferences and workshops.
Qualifications
- PharmD with specialized experience in clinical oncology (BCOP preferred) and a strong interest in clinical informatics and data-driven decision-making.
- 4+ years of experience in a patient-facing role centered on oncology drug (infused and oral) counseling at time of prescription-fill, side effect and symptom self-management and triage in a large multi disease type oncology practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other oncology clinicians, and to create and manage patient-directed clinical content creation, with proficiency in oncology, clinical data, and drug information tools.
- Familiarity with clinical data resources (DailyMed, Epocrates) and oncology guidelines (NCCN, ASCO, FDA).
- Willingness to collaborate with experts in informatics tools (such as Python, SQL, or similar) to manage, automate, and analyze clinical data for content optimization.
- Strong understanding of healthcare informatics, patient privacy regulations, and health information technology.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to convey complex data and medical concepts in a clear, accessible manner.
