Job Summary
Raymond James Financial Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for filing regulatory reports with the Federal Reserve Board. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will work closely with the Director of Regulatory Reporting to ensure that regulatory filings are produced timely, accurately and are complete. This position requires a strong understanding of financial reporting under US GAAP. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of being an individual self-starter, working efficiently to meet tight deadlines, and recommending solutions to complex problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and submit quarterly regulatory reports, including, but not limited to FRY9C, FRY11, FRY12, FFIEC009, FFIEC102
Communicate with data providers to ensure reporting requirements are sufficiently understood
Coordinate the timely submission and aggregation of data from business lines and other data provider
Execute and maintain key controls to ensure data completeness (e.g. reconciliation with GL, 10Q, 10K, and other disclosures) and accuracy (e.g. data quality reviews)
Uses financial reporting software to prepare and analyze regulatory reports and schedule
Researches and makes recommendations to resolve unusual or irregular reporting issue
Prepares and reviews reports of financial information for management
Assists with external and internal audits and regulatory examination
Prepares surveys to be submitted to governmental organizations and publications.
Identifies and recommends process improvements to increase efficiency in processing or analyzing financial information.
Assists in training others.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
Accounting and financial/regulatory reporting
General Ledger and data reconcilement to regulatory report
Advanced MS Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
AxiomSL for regulatory reporting preferred
Skill in
Reviewing, interpreting and analyzing financial information and report
Researching reconciliation and variance issue
Preparing financial statements, regulatory filings and management reports.
Compiling financial data
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets and complex database
Ability to
Lead discussions and contribute to team efforts by ensuring all relevant information is included in outcome
Implement changes to standard procedures when required by specific situations and circumstance
Work with large volumes of data from different source
Make independent decisions and solve complex problem
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Economic
Minimum of three (5) years' experience in finance, accounting, analytics or reporting
Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
