Description:
Work with application developers to create optimized queries
Create database triggers, table indexes and programming views, stored procedures, and functions
Develops database designs based on business requirements.
Reviews and revises database designs and ensures that all technical and business requirements are met.
Builds database structures based on detailed design.
Performs database testing to ensure performance is met and compare with expected results. Provides support during the system implementation and production.
Suggests new features, coding techniques and reference material. Identifies gaps in scripts and procedures.
Suggests options for implementation of features.
Experience with design and implementation of enterprise-level application and data architectures.
Strong focus on collaboration and enablement of team based development.
Delivery focus in a high velocity, high quality environment.
Must be able to work in highly iterative development cycles.
Working in an Agile/Devops environment
Have an excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create test cases
Nice to have is conversion from oracle to Postgres
Nice to have Some ETL knowledge - Informatica or Pentaho
Nice to have AWS general knowledge (admin console)
