We are seeking a highly skilled Service Mesh Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining service mesh architectures for microservices deployed by mission software teams. You will also manage the integration with Single Sign-On (SSO) and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) credentials via gateway configuration, as well as sidecar component architecture and Open Policy Agent (OPA) policies for mutual TLS and multi-level security requirements. Salary Range: $82,000-$97,000

Responsibilities:
- Designing, building, and maintaining service mesh architectures for microservices deployed by mission software teams
- Managing the integration with Single Sign-On (SSO) and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) credentials via gateway configuration
- Managing sidecar component architecture and Open Policy Agent (OPA) policies for mutual TLS and multi-level security requirements
- Collaborating with software development teams to ensure service mesh designs align with application architecture and security requirements
- Analyzing service mesh metrics and logs to identify potential issues and optimizations
- Developing and maintaining documentation of service mesh architecture and configuration
Salary Range: $82,000-$97,000
General Description of Benefits

- 3 + years Experience with designing and implementing service mesh architectures for large-scale microservices environments
- Familiarity with SSO and ICAM standards and protocols
- Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge of sidecar component architecture and Open Policy Agent (OPA) policies
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
