Clinical Director

Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience

Flexible Schedule

Location: Jefferson City Area

As the Clinical Director at Calo Programs, you'll play a key role in delivering transformative care, pioneering clinical innovations, and fostering a supportive team culture, all while facilitating lasting positive change for preteens and their families.

Every day, you will oversee clinical operations, recruit and mentor a high-caliber team of therapists and clinical staff, and plan events that strengthen parent-family engagement. Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership: Oversee treatment programs tailored to adoptive families, utilizing the Calo CASA Model and Embark Treatment Approach (ETA) to ensure effective, compassionate client care
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing clinical team, cultivating a group of "A-Players" who are passionate about working with preteens and adoptive families.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory standards, prioritize client and staff well-being, and promote a safe therapeutic environment with year-over-year reductions in safety incidents.
  • Outcomes Management: Drive program success by reducing unplanned discharges, improving program completion rates, and achieving occupancy goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead family-focused events, foster regular communication with families and referents, and ensure a high level of satisfaction and trust in the treatment process.
  • Budgeting: Manage clinical training budgets and support financial planning for therapeutic events, ensuring resources are allocated to best support client care and family engagement.
  • Client-Focused Services: Potentially maintain a small clinical caseload to ensure high-quality, personalized care through individual, family, and group therapy, depending on the needs of the program.


Qualifications

  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in a behavioral science - Social Work, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Mental Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. Full Missouri licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
  • Experience: At least two years in a leadership role within a therapeutic or residential setting, with experience in trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment and attachment therapies.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, creative problem-solving in treatment planning, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Theraplay modalities and experience with event planning, particularly family-centered events.
