What is the role?
The Director/Senior Director of Commercial Strategy will lead the development and execution of current and new product commercial strategy. In this role, the Director will develop and execute pre-launch brand and sales strategies, assess life cycle opportunities and lead business development opportunity assessments.
What are the key responsibilities?
Contributing as a member of the Aerogen Pharma's leadership team.
Develop and execute disease area and product market research to support establishment of product differentiation, marketing and launch strategy in specialty care pharmaceutical markets.
Establish and execute payer research in support of development of robust product pricing strategy.
In partnership with clinical and medical affairs teams, develop robust product life cycle opportunities and business cases.
Lead commercial assessment of external business development opportunities and business case development
Develop and maintain comprehensive competitive intelligence program.
Provide commercial insight and recommendations to clinical development programs.
Develop and maintain forecasting models.
What education and experience are required?
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in science or business. Ph.D. preferred. MBA preferred.
Significant experience (> 10 years) in commercial strategy development and product launch preparation and execution for US specialty care/rare disease market. Neonatal intensive care unit experience a plus.
Significant experience in market and payer research development and interpretation
Evidence of leadership of business development and new opportunity assessments.
Results oriented. Strong initiative, accountability and willingness to take ownership and drive projects to completion.
