How you'll make a difference:
- Work collaboratively alongside electrical engineers and technologists in designing lighting, power, security, fire alarm, communications, and data infrastructure systems for various types of buildings
- Work in a multi-disciplinary practice with architects, interior designers, structural and mechanical engineers to create integrated and highly sustainable design solutions for a wide variety of building types
- Prepare high quality BIM (Revit) models and engineering drawings for lighting, power, security, fire alarm and ICT systems for various types of buildings
- Assist in the preparation of engineering studies and construction documents
- Be involved in all phases ofprojects,from conceptdesign,through to completionof construction
- Ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained by working with integrated team members
- Provide design support for contract administration during construction phase of the projects
Who you are:
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering Registered P.Eng desired, though EIT's with relevant work experience will be considered
- 4 - 8yearsof Electrical Engineering experiencein the AEC Industry
- Knowledge of power distribution system, fire safety, lighting, security systems, voice and data communication systems
- Strong preference will be given to candidates who possess BIM expertise and proficiency in Revit software
- Knowledge of building and electrical Codes and Standards for large buildings
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt, and manage multiple project deadlines
- Willing to learn and grow within a team-oriented and collaborative design environment
- Able to receive and deliver constructive and positive feedback effectively
- Self-motivated and organized with strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to travel for regular site visits
