Quality and Education manager will be responsible for the education and training of clinical staff and will also maintain the quality requirements to make sure Hospice of Lake Cumberland is providing the best care.

Quality and Education manager will be responsible for the education and training of clinical staff and will also maintain the quality requirements to make sure Hospice of Lake Cumberland is providing the best care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse; graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Kentucky License.
- Minimum 6 years of Hospice Experience required
- Quality and Compliance experience preferred.
- Must be able to access patient's home independently.
- Cannot have any lifting restrictions as this is a vital function of a nurse, therefore there is no light duty available for nurses.
Position Relationships
- Supervised by Director of Clinical Services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain education material
- New employee orientation
- Ongoing employee education and training
- Employee ride-alongs and check offs
- QAPI and Performance Improvement Projects (PIP)
- HIS submission
- Ethics committee oversight
- Corporate Compliance and Chart Audits
- In-services with facilities
- Administrative on-call responsibilities;
- Other job duties as assigned
