SIGNAL PROCESSING ENGINEER (TS/SCI REQUIRED)

Description:
Seeking a Signal Processing Engineer to support research, development and operational software deployment in support of large government clients in the Washington DC Metro Area (WMA).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Researches and discovers improvements to existing signal processing algorithms
Explores application of advanced analytics to signal processing, to include but not limited to machine learning
Optimizes the performance of software algorithms, applications, and platforms
Develops and documents algorithm and implementation requirements
Leverages and refines existing software in support of new applications
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years' experience with applications of signal processing
Experience with development and application of data analytics, to include machine learning or other Artificial Intelligence techniques
Experience working and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary and results-oriented research team setting
KEY SKILLS:
Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills
Exceptional signal processing and mathematical skills, including implementation of these concepts in software (C++/C, Python, Matlab, etc)
Knowledge of communication system theory and/or related signal processing techniques (i.e. filtering, sampling, modulation, demodulation, etc)
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.
