Description:

Manage the credit union's in-house ALM software solution for asset-liability management, deposit modeling and liquidity stress testing. Serve as a subject matter expert in the field of interest rate risk reporting and management. Perform ad-hoc what if analyses to provide management insight regarding the ALM impact of new products or business strategies. Evaluation of ad-hoc analyses to determine the effect on the balance sheet and associated risks. Complete regular stress testing and sensitivity analysis to understand impact of various assumptions on the results of the model. Assist with the preparation of regular reporting for management regarding ALM results, loan and deposit growth, loan and deposit pricing and other asset management reporting as needed. Perform statistical analyses on loan vintage performance and provide strategies to optimize the credit union's portfolio of products. Involvement in the ALM model validation process, non-maturity deposit studies and assessing asset prepayment behaviors. Automate the process of loading monthly data streams into applicable tools, including data validation and reconciliation. Collaborate in the ongoing development of financial risk management and infrastructure regarding the definition and monitoring of risk metrics, reports and limits. Partner with business leaders to obtain, understand, analyze and draw conclusions with respect to business strategy (loan/deposit growth, product mix, new business volume, duration and pricing spreads). Assist with the annual NCUA examination and any other audits by providing requested information and preparing assigned schedules. Assist with the annual process for capital planning and stress testing and related model validations and analyses. Assist with the monthly CECL calculation and packet. Provide support for the quarterly forecasting process as needed. BA in Finance / Accounting / Statistics or a related subject or equivalent education and/or experience. Three plus (3+) years of experience running an asset-liability software solution. Strong understanding of liquidity, interest rate risk and ALM concepts. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel. High attention to detail and excellent time management. Solid understanding of financial statements and the financial services industry.
