License and Certification Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Support Personnel License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field required.
Experience Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of related experience in grant writing and grant management, or grant-supported education research/evaluation work.
Skills Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Nonprofit Management, Finance, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline required. Master?s Degree strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities: Ability to work as a member of a high-functioning team to support district program offices and stakeholders in coordinating the development, administrative management, reporting and closeout of grants and other district programmatic investments; ability to utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to ensure that the district?s grant-making and related processes, documents, procedures and implementation are executed professionally, efficiently, on schedule, and in a manner consistent with best practices; ability to play an active role in the district?s overall project development, implementation and monitoring and provides advice in many areas (i.e., administration, procurement, legal, financial, and staffing); and strong technology skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
1. Oversees overall grants flow process, documents procedures, and manages all aspects of process implementation including approvals.
2. Prepares and provides accurate grant data / information to internal and external stakeholders.
3. Works internally with program staff and other stakeholders to structure and implement grant making requirements and ensure effective workflow.
4. Provides clear, concise instruction on grants administration policies and procedures to both grantees and staff.
5. Analyzes budget and expenditure reports and ensures compliance with IRS and foundation-specific regulations for assigned grants.
6. Serves as advisor for grants management system with both internal and external audiences, including troubleshooting and assurance of data integrity.
7. Prepares data-related reports for finance, philanthropic and program related functions.
8. Provides ad-hoc training on the project life cycle, policies and procedures and system processes to newly hired program staff.
9. Provides, on an as needed basis, peer-to-peer training.
10. Reviews and recommends options for the continuous improvement of policies, procedures, system enhancements in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and administration and monitoring of projects.
11. Coordinate bi-monthly GCPS IRB Review Committee.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
