About Your Position
CONSTANT is seeking a Senior Process Improvement Specialist to support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Fleet and Asset Management (OFAM). OFAM's mission is to provide effective and efficient management of CBP's fleet and asset resources. This includes acquiring and disposing of vehicles and equipment, maintaining and repairing fleet assets, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards and supporting operational needs through efficient asset management.
This Is What You'll Do
The Senior Process Improvement Specialist will serve in a consulting role to lead and manage process improvement initiatives within the Customs and Border Protection Office of Fleet and Asset Management. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and refinement of new processes, procedures, and training programs for each Integrated Services (IS) Project Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their deep knowledge of process improvement methodologies to deliver impactful solutions. They will facilitate meetings, workshops, and effective cross-functional teamwork, requiring a strong executive presence. They will also be proficient in MS Office Suite and have the ability to lead projects and identify and manage risks.

- Support the development and execution of a comprehensive process improvement strategy aligned with CBP's strategic goals
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies to identify, analyze, and improve critical business processes
- Design and implement innovative solutions that using Power Apps (Power BI, Power Automate, and/or Vizio) and SharePoint to automate workflows, enhance data visualization, and improve decision-making
- Lead organizational change initiatives, developing effective communication plans and training programs to ensure smooth transitions
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to gain buy-in and secure necessary resources
- Lead and facilitate meetings, workshops, and client interactions.
- Leverage advanced data analysis techniques to uncover valuable insights and inform data-driven decision-making
- Lead and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration/Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems) or relevant field
- 4-10 years of relevant experience in process improvement/providing consulting services preferably in a government or public sector environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Power Apps (Power BI, Power Automate, and/or Vizio)
- Knowledge of information management regulations and security standards including SharePoint
- Demonstrated success as a project manager, including leading and managing complex projects
- The ability to drive tasks to completion by exerting influence without authority
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders
- Must pass a CBP Background Investigation (BI)
