Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Case Management
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8 hours, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years of inpatient discharge planning
License: RN License Required
Certifications: BLS
Must-Have:
- Experience in a large Level 1, fast-paced environment
- Prepared to float to different units
- Epic Case Management Module experience
Job Description:
- Participate in orientation sessions scheduled for specified dates.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 25-30 cases per day in a 1,000-bed Level I Trauma hospital.
- Collaborate with in-house Hospitalist or Intensivist available 24/7.
- Work in a team with 24/7 on-site Respiratory Therapy and Pharmacy.
- Adhere to attire guidelines: Business casual with a white lab coat or royal blue scrubs.
- Execute weekend shift expectations, with two weekend shifts every month.
- Fulfill holiday work requirements, with one holiday per contract.
- Engage in floating duties as necessary across different units.
- Utilize the Epic Case Management Module effectively in daily tasks.
