Role:

As a hardware engineer on the project, you will be part of the global team Electrical team and key interface for the customer in the region. You will be responsible for the reviewing the requirements, design, and validation of the electrical component of the battery pack and BMS. You will work on cutting edge technology in the field of battery packs, Inverter, On-Board-chargers and 3-1 EDUs. Position may require up to 10% of local and international travel as needed.

Requirements

Responsibilities:
Key Electrical design interface between the OE customer and the global team
Design and development of electrical component as per Mobis Engineering Development process
Review customer requirements/specifications and design/select the electrical components
Communicate with customers regarding product design and milestone definition and review

Competencies:
Basic xEV electrical architecture and operating principle
Familiarity with the current trends and future technologies in EV space
Proficiency in electronics design tools

- Circuit (PCB) Design Zuken CR-8000 (Design Gateway, Board Designer, Design Force), PADS, Altium
- Circuit simulation : OrCAD, PSIM, LTspice
- Mechanical Design : CATIA
- HW Verification Test : Vector CANoe / CAN Analyzer / INCA
- HW Architecture (for Functional Safety) : Enterprise Architect
- FMEA (for Functional Safety) : IQ-FMEA

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
10+ years of automotive product development experience
4+ years of experience with HV battery system (HEV/PHEV/BEV)
High level of English verbal, written and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
MS degree Electronics/Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of applicable safety standards including ISO, IEC, ASPICE and others.
Familiarity with product development in compliance with cybersecurity and functional safety processes and methods.
Korean language skills a plus.
Position requires up-to 10% local travel.
