The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing insights on market trends, themes, and competitors to inform product management, product positioning, and Constituent Engagement.The Sr. Business Analystwillpartnerwithproduct leaders and our Data Analytics and Research teamtodevelop standard analyses and metrics for Common Application products and services and consult on business decisionsbasedonthe results of these analyses.The successful candidatewillbe a self-starter comfortablewithambiguity,withstrong attentiontodetail, and driven by a desiretobring greater equity in thecollegeplanning and admissions process.
RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS
This role requires:
- Candidates must live in the United States.
- Bachelor'sdegreein Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, or other business disciplines; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 4-6yearsproven business analysis experience in Strategy, Finance, Business Operations, or Sales Strategy & Operations.
- Power user of Excel/ Google sheets.
- ExperiencewithTableau Desktop.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and abilitytodevise creative solutionstoproblems.
- Abilitytoinfluence stakeholders andworkcloselywiththemtoreach mutually acceptable solutions
- Experienceworkingin a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Driven by deep curiosity when it comestodata and energized by telling data stories.
- Experienced in creating, implementing, and routinizingreportingtoimprove data-informed decision-making capabilities for product, marketing, and/or sales teams.
- Skilledatconstructingexecutive-level presentations and presenting complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and decision-impacting manner.
Theidealcandidatewillpossess:
- Comfortable aggregating large data sets from a variety of sources (e.g. combining Salesforce.comand usage data).
- Experience building Salesforce.comreports.
- ExperiencewithTableau Server.
- Management Consulting 2-3yearsof experience.
- Proficient in marketing/digital marketing research.
- Experience analyzing demand generation efforts, including return on ad spending, selling funnels, and reseller partnerships.
- Experience analyzing products and programs utilized by postsecondary institutions, including enrollment management products and services.
- A passion for higher education.
PAYRANGE
Target hiringsalaryrange $115,000-121,000
