Are you an experienced emergency medicine (EM) medical director? We are seeking an experienced facility medical director to lead our emergency department (ED) team at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of medical conditions
- Develop and sustain relationships with other physicians and hospital administration
- Impact clinical strategies and workflows that promote evidence-based medicine
- Participate in key hospital meetings and company initiatives
- Collaborate with key leaders from the hospital and organization to enhance cultural and performance measures
- Annual volume: 45,000
- 38-bed ED
- 54 hours physician coverage
- 24 hours APC coverage
- 16% Admission Rate
- Epic EMR
- Board certified/board eligible ABEM or AOBEM only
- Highly experienced nursing and leadership team
- Hospital medicine program serviced by TeamHealth
