The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is searching for a full-time Assistant Professor in the area of General and Preventive Cardiology. The appointee will have mostly outpatient clinical responsibilities at our Orland Park and Hyde Park Campus including outpatient clinic, reading echocardiograms and other studies, and inpatient ward and consultative cardiology at our main campus and if needed, at affiliated sites. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: (1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, (2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois, and (3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology.
