The Director of the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) will oversee the development, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of the university's Quality Enhancement Plan. The QEP is a critical part of the university's commitment to academic excellence and institutional effectiveness, with a focus on enhancing student learning outcomes and aligning with accreditation standards. This role requires a collaborative leader who can engage faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders in creating and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement and educational innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of the QEP, working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify key areas of improvement in teaching, learning, and student success.
- Monitor trends in higher education and accreditation standards to ensure the QEP remains relevant and effective.
- Serve as a liaison to accrediting bodies, ensuring the university meets all quality and compliance standards related to the QEP.
- Analyze and report on QEP outcomes, using data to inform continuous improvement efforts and decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on QEP progress, outcomes, and challenges, providing updates to senior leadership, faculty, and external stakeholders.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to support faculty and staff in enhancing instructional practices and improving student engagement and learning.
- Foster a campus culture of quality enhancement, encouraging faculty and staff to participate in professional development opportunities related to QEP goals.
- Develop and manage the QEP budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support program goals.
Education
- Master's degree in Higher Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field required; Doctorate preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in higher education, with a background in quality enhancement, accreditation, assessment, or institutional effectiveness.
- Strong knowledge of accreditation processes, particularly with regional accrediting bodies (e.g., SACSCOC).
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
