With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Camarillo! This is a full-time permanent exempt position.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates and completes month-end closing procedures including, but not limited to: Performing analysis and reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts for certain domestic and foreign entities, maintaining and reconciling various intercompany accounts with collaboration from foreign offices and analysis of operating expenses.
  • Assists in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules according to the monthly close schedule. Ensures accuracy of transactions and financial statements in accordance with GAAP accounting and IFRS, where applicable.
  • Administers the expense management program, including approving travel related receipts, following up with employees on discrepancies/missing receipts, reconciling the credit card statements, and performing various related calculations.
  • Administers the Avalara sales tax software platform, working with Avalara to ensure compliance with sales tax remittances in applicable states. Performs monthly reconciliation of Sales tax charged per Avalara vs. the general ledger.
  • Assists in the preparation of other reports provided to management as requested, including variance explanations, which requires interaction with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Prepares audit deliverables and works with external auditors to support the annual financial statement audit.
  • Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
  • Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Handles various other duties as delegated by Manager.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and experience, required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting Operations and General Ledger management.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Expert knowledge in Excel needed including VLOOKUP's, formulas and Pivot Tables.
  • Background working with expense management software platforms such as Certify and Concur is required.
  • Experience with subscription-based software revenue accounting is highly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems. Microsoft Dynamics or Navision a plus.
  • Experience in an International Company is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Multi-State Sales Tax filings and withholding using Avalara is preferred.


Salary Range (applicable to California):

$95,000- $105,000 DOE
