DailyResponsibilities
- Manage company objectives as it pertains all supplier activities, requirements, and cost initiatives for the organization.
- Prepare and implement purchasing strategies for the local and regional purchasing organization while considering the global company purchasing structure.
- Supporting the initiation and the execution of contract negotiations
- Leading, developing, and assisting all department employees enabling a culture of trust and collaboration
- Pushing forward the department goals and agenda to anticipate future market conditions and other situations that could inhibit the goals of the company.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience of purchasing leadership experience within the Automotive Industry
- Bachelors degree in Purchasing / Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or similar.
- Exhibited leadership qualities
- Strong experience and knowledge of market conditions and negotiation tactics
- Program purchasing experience and knowledge as it pertains to sourcing and supplier relations
- Strategic oriented mindset to lead the department from an advanced mindset over current market situations.
