In this new position, the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager will work collaboratively with Potter's EHS Leader to establish and cultivate a robust safety program in our manufacturing facility. You'll have the opportunity to shape our entire environmental, health, and safety framework from the ground up. You'll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing policies, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a safe, compliant work environment that aligns with the latest regulatory standards. Collaborating closely with site teams and senior leadership, you'll drive proactive EHS strategies, lead training initiatives, oversee incident management, and champion sustainability practices. This role offers a rare chance to influence standards and cultivate a culture of safety and environmental responsibility at every level.

We're seeking a proactive EHS Manager with a deep understanding of environmental regulations and a talent for problem-solving to join our innovative team. Success in this role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and exceptional communication abilities to effectively lead and educate others. Ability to learn specialized safety software and proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field (master's preferred) and bring at least five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, benefitted, position working Monday through Friday onsite in the manufacturing facility. An occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate the needs of the business. There may be occasional travel to other PGT sites.
