Position Summary: The S&OP Analyst supports the Sales and Operations Planning process(es), ensuring effective alignment between demand forecasts, supply chain capabilities, and business goals. This role involves analyzing data, generating reports, facilitating meetings, and helping to maintain a balanced approach to inventory management, demand planning, and production.

Conditions of Employment:
Must comply with all John I. Haas, Inc. policies and procedures, including successful passing of pre-employment background check and drug test. Regularly required to sit, stand, and move about the facility. Must be able to drive to various Haas facilities (Gordon Road Plant and Warehouse, Toppenish farms) on a regular basis. Normal working hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and after hours/weekends as needed (mainly during harvest season), including customer/grower entertainment. Must be flexible and able to work additional hours as needed, particularly during the harvest season. Ability to occasionally travel, both domestic and international, as business needs require. Must comply with our Integrated Management System (IMS) and be trained on procedures applicable to the requirements of the position, including managing significant quality, environmental, and food safety aspects. Ability to work 7 days/week for about a month each year during Harvest (Sept./Oct.)
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills required of the Position)

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, operations research, or related field OR progressive experience in sales and operations planning, demand planning, supply chain analytics, or related roles. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and the ability to articulate/present relevant findings (e.g., experience using Microsoft Excel and Power BI, Tableau or other analytical reporting tools). Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred (the "nice to haves"; without it, won't prevent from being successful and/or can train person to learn "it"):
Strong attention to detail. Experience analyzing complex data to identify meaningful trends, correlation, causation, etc. Experience with related software (purchasing, ERP systems), and quality/continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay: $79,969 to $95,880 per year with a target starting salary of $77,969 to $87,890. Please keep in mind this range represents the range for all positions in the pay grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including experience and if applicable, location.

60% 1. S&OP Process
- Assist in the execution and continuous improvement of the S&OP process.
- Prepare and distribute S&OP meeting materials, including analysis of key performance metrics.
- Facilitate and participate in cross-functional meetings to align sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Support the development and maintenance of demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing teams.
- Collaborate cross functionally between the sales, operations, innovations, and supply chain teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment.
- Ensure all stakeholders are aware of potential risks, challenges, and opportunities in the S&OP process and ensure clear communication.
Demand Planning:
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on market trends, historical data, and customer insights.
- Foster cross function strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to facilitate information sharing and decision-making.
- Analyze demand patterns and assist in implementing strategies to limit overhead while meeting customer service levels.
Supply Planning
- Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure raw hop procurement and production schedules align with demand forecasts.
- Monitors inventory levels and works closely with production and procurement teams to optimize finished good inventory and minimize excess and obsolete inventory while adhering to service targets
- Analyze raw hop procurement, capacity constraints, inventory levels, and lead times to ensure balanced supply and demand.
- Attend scheduling meetings for both AP/Extract and Pellet plants for both brewing and non-brewing products and provide feedback. Production planning should account for both make-to-order and stock requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, production capacity, and supplier performance to mitigate risks and address supply chain constraints.
- Conduct root cause analysis to understand stock-outs, overstock situations, and lead-time variability.
20% 2. Data Analysis
- Assist in maintaining reports and dashboards to track key metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and service levels.
- Ensure data accuracy and troubleshooting.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional impacts to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Track and report on forecast accuracy and identify reasons for variances between forecasted and actual demand.
- Perform root cause analysis on variances between forecast and actuals, potential bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
15% 3. Continuous Improvement
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the S&OP cycle, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor key performance metrics and offer suggestions to achieve and maintain positive metrics, such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels and timing, production efficiencies, etc.
- Track performance against the plan and identify areas for improvement.
- Recommends continuous improvement initiatives
5% 4. Other duties as assigned.
