Burr Ridge School District 180 where education and diversity meet to create real world success is seeking a dedicated instructional leader to become principal of Anne M. Jeans Elementary School.
Anne M. Jeans Elementary School, named after the first teacher in our district, is one of two schools in Burr Ridge CCSD 180 and serves 300 culturally diverse pre-kindergarten through fourth grade students. Located in DuPage County, the school is home to the district's outstanding and growing early childhood programs. Anne M. Jeans is a Commendable rated school in the 2024 Illinois School Board of Education Report Card. Students have 2 to 1 technology for grades 1-4.
Job Summary:
This is a 12-month position which begins July 1st or earlier. Specific requirements outlined in the job description posted on the district's web page (www.ccsd180.org).
Qualifications:
The person selected as Principal must meet the licensure requirements of the State of Illinois and has demonstrated academic success at the graduate level.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with experience and a demonstrated ability to relate to the district's diverse students, parents and staff in the pursuit of improved student achievement. Our administrative team is looking for candidates with a history of being actively engaged with the school community as well as the ability to create innovative systematic approaches to student success.
Working Conditions:
The new principal will receive an attractive compensation package based upon experience and highly competitive within the DuPage and West Cook area, base salary range of $115,000 - $130,000 depending on experience. 100% of Health insurance and TRS will be included in the compensation.
