JOB TITLE: Operations Support Analyst Advanced

FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt
SUMMARY: SABG is hiring an Operations Support Analyst Advanced to support Warfighter Operational Integration work with the Missile Defense Agency as a Site Lead overseeing a seven-person team at Vandenberg Space Force Base (SFB), CA.
SALARY RANGE: $120,000 - $140,000

SUPERVISION: This position has supervisory responsibilities as the SABG Contractor Site-Lead at Vandenberg SFB, overseeing a seven-person team consisting mostly of watch officers working 12-hour shifts, 24/7/365. The Site Lead must be willing to work 12-hour shifts as-needed on an ad-hoc basis, either day or night shifts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Provide support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) at Vandenberg SFB, CA.
- Warfighter and End-User Engagement, as well as GMD subject matter expertise in support of missile defense system GMD programmatic, technical, integration, fielding, and operational efforts.
- Execute the Missile Defense System (MDS) asset management process; review and approve Event Objective Worksheets (EOW) and Schedule Change Requests (SCRs).
- Identify and recommend requirements for tailoring applications supporting Homeland Defense. Support the scheduling, deconfliction, and execution of software installations, system upgrades, asset cutovers, and technical additions.
- Facilitate internal and external MDA missile defense system communications to include Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and assess employment of current and future missile defense capabilities. Engage in missile defense system operational planning related to the Warfighter Engagement and End-User input into Warfighter Involvement Program (WIP).
- Establish and maintain working relationships within operational industry communities to keep abreast of Warfighter and End-User issues, internal and external inquiries and review and prepare executive-level briefings, operational planning reports, and white papers.
- Participate in GM Program Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), GM Program Fielding Reviews, and GMF Readiness Team Execution Reviews (TERs).
