Summary:

Native American Connections (NAC) is looking for a dedicated professional to serve in the position of Senior Director of Behavioral and Integrated Health Services. Duties:

The Senior Director of Behavioral and Integrated Health Services is responsible for the oversight of the clinical and business operations of the Behavioral Health Residential Facilities Sober Living Home, Integrated Health, and Quality Management. This position reports to the COO and manages the Directors of the health-related service lines. The Senior Director of Behavioral and Integrated Health manages the services in a manner that is consistent with NAC's mission and philosophy and ensures excellent client care and satisfaction. The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of and experience in behavioral health and primary care, be driven to succeed, be able to handle multiple; and manage the stress of multiple, concurrent demands; possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; be able to skillfully engage others; and a good steward of the organization's culture and strong community history.

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience as a senior healthcare leader. Eight years of experience working with mental health, substance use, or other vulnerable populations. Must possess a master's degree preferably in healthcare administration, or social services discipline. AZBBHE licensure preferred. Experience and Competencies: Knowledge of complex activities and operations of state, federal, and local legislative bodies, governmental and community agencies with respect to behavioral health programs. Knowledge of contract and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of and experience with Federally Qualified Health Center requirements and billing related to Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance. Knowledge of Native American Connections and the target population served. Ability to work with attention to detail and the ability to organize. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization. Skilled in strong decision-making. Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, organizational and time management skills. Demonstrate self-motivation and perseverance to achieve goals Role model appropriate, professional behaviors including appropriate client boundaries Work effectively as part of a team, helping to set up others for success Ability to represent NAC at the local, tribal, and federal level by attending networking and educational opportunities and promoting the positive reputation of the organization. Experience overseeing grant funded programs and ensures quality delivery of services, appropriate and timely reporting. Deploys resources efficiently and effectively toward organizational goals, working with staff to recruit and retain highly qualified staff, balance workload and effort, and provide ongoing feedback so that staff can continuously improve their supervision and mentoring skills. Competence providing leadership to employees to support and develop the provision of services, to deliver high-value, culturally relevant and quality care that is financially feasible and sustainable. Ability to complete regular internal and external reporting for the Board of Directors, funders, and regulatory compliance agencies Working knowledge of and experience in a non-profit setting, be driven to succeed, be able to handle multi-priorities; manage the stress of multiple, concurrent demands; possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
