Salary - $79,000 - $104,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.

About the position:
We're looking for a PCB Designer to apply advanced technical PCB design principles, techniques, theories, and concepts. In this role, you will:
- Research, design, and layout a variety of electronic equipment and systems.
- Use Computer Aided Design software programs to design the layout for PCBs
- Collaborate with engineers to create 3D models of PCAs
- Develop PCV design guidelines
- Draft documentation for manufactures
- Prepare new or revised layouts of PCA/PCB design in order to provide finished, detailed drawings.
- Support the Change Request process for documentation and manufacture data.
- Recommend layout to meet given or calculated requirements.
- Pre-check, coordinate, and final check the drafting work from contracted resources.
- Manage multiple PCB designs in Altium Designer.
- Set up PCA/PCB projects with appropriate design rules.
- Calculate PCB parasitic parameters such as impedance and inductance.
- Evaluate PCB power density to prevent hot spots.
- Evaluate PCB to ensure all rules are satisfied such as UL creepage and clearance.
- Evaluate final Design For Manufacturability (DFM).
- Manage component library and create components and footprints.
- Interface with PCB and PCBA vendors.
- Support continual process improvements that ensure reliable design packages and robust product performance.
About you:
- Technical Associate Degree + 7 years of experience or11 years of experience without a degree.
- Ability to plan, organize, and carry out technical activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
