Job Duties
- Lead and manage clinical operations across two practice sites, overseeing a patient panel of approximately 2,000 individuals.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care, expand clinical services, grow research portfolios, and enhance educational programs.
- Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration among faculty, fellows, and staff.
- Mentor and support faculty development, recruitment, and retention efforts.
- Oversee the training and education of residents, fellows, and medical students within the section.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including affiliated hospitals and healthcare organizations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Board Certified, M.D. or equivalent medical degree.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Texas.
- Proven experience in leadership within an academic medical center, with a demonstrated record of achievement in clinical care, research, and education.
- A track record of fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and promoting a culture of innovation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
