The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Control Sales the Control Solutions Engineer will develop control solutions, applications, and execute fee-based control services' for our Applied Channel Partners with the overall objectives of business development, improving customer experience, driving knowledge transfer, market penetration and LG Basis Of Design projects.
The CSE shall report to the Director of Control Sales, and coordinate activities with Control Solutions Managers and Control Solution Engineers to implement strategic initiatives, develop application libraries for LG MultiSITE Niagara based controllers, 8000 series controllers to support and promote sales of LG MultiV, VRF, DOAS, ISC, AHU-KIT and other LG HVAC equipment introduced to the US Market.

Responsibilities
- Project Manage LG's Scope of Work for each 'fee-based control' project in accordance with the mutually agreed upon schedule
- Establishes productive, trusted and professional relationships with LG's Channel Partners, Control Solution Managers, and other internal stakeholders
- Develop complete 'end-to-end' packaged control solutions including drawings, wiring diagrams, bill of materials, control specifications, graphics, custom programming, best practices, including secure remote access
- Development of control applications focused around LG's MultiSITE controllers to optimize operation, performance and integration of LG's advanced VRF, DOAS and ISC equipment
- Review control estimates prepared by Control Solutions Managers and provide feedback based on in-field execution to ensure accuracy of estimates
- Build and maintain a library of MultiSITE control applications that can easily be searched and accessed from the cloud.
- Execution of 'Fee-Based Control Services' including preparation of control drawings, custom control sequences, associated programming, bill of materials, FDD routines, alarming, building operator dashboards, training, wiring diagrams, remote and on site diagnostics, commissioning.
- Implement strategic control initiatives to achieve quarterly and annual KPI's including development of fee-based control services
- Maintain deep knowledge of current control technologies, communication, GUI, mobile, analytics, dashboards and industry trends
- Maintain deep control knowledge and expertise on Niagara framework technologies
- Provide feedback on new controls initiatives, priorities, productivity tools, analytics, Equipment KPI's, and FDD (Fault Detection & Diagnostics) algorithm to Director, Control Sales and Control Engineering Teams
- Share best practices, drive knowledge transfer and collaborate with other LG internal teams and stakeholders
- Achieves strategic, KPI and fee-based objectives agreed upon for each calendar year
- Completes required training and development objectives within assigned time frames
- Coordinates, liaises and prioritizes work with LG's Control Solution Team (Director and Control Solution Managers, and Control Solution Engineers)
- Provides feedback on control products, tools, functionality, enhancements, new features, and new products to internal stakeholders to help drive superior customer experience
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC and/or Building Automation Contractor experience in the role of control engineer building control applications specific to projects
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a field controls technician, preferably with a VRF manufacture
- Exceptional written, oral communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities.
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- Personal computer proficiency
- Tridium (TCP) Niagara Advanced Certification
- The CSE position requires moderate travel within the continental USA
- All prospective employees must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Candidate may be required to maintain a home based office
