Key Responsibilities
Database Security Management:
- Oversee database encryption and activity monitoring platforms (e.g., Guardium Encryption, Imperva, or Guardium DAM).
- Focus primarily on database encryption technologies to secure enterprise databases.
Operating System Administration:
- Manage and configure systems running on Windows, RHEL, and AIX platforms.
- Provide OS-level technical expertise for database security integrations.
Software Configuration and Deployment:
- Perform enterprise-wide upgrades and deployments of security agents and related software.
- Manage appliance/console upgrades for security platforms running on servers.
Technology Governance:
- Ensure compliance with change management processes and documentation standards.
- Collaborate on audit or regulatory requirements, leveraging strong written and verbal communication skills.
Authentication and API Integration:
- Enable single sign-on authentication and privilege access management integrations.
- Support API integrations for reporting and enhanced platform functionality.
Change Management Support:
- Be available during evenings and weekends for change ticket implementation and support activities.
- Database Security Expertise: Hands-on experience with Guardium Encryption for managing database encryption.
- Software Configuration and Deployment: Proven ability to upgrade and deploy security agents and appliances across an enterprise environment.
- Operating System Expertise: Technical proficiency with Windows, RHEL, and AIX operating systems, specifically in environments requiring OS-level security configuration.
- Availability for Off-Hours Work: Commitment to support change tickets during evenings and weekends as required.
- Experience with Imperva or Guardium DAM.
- Familiarity with audit and regulatory processes.
- Strong understanding of API integration and reporting.
