The Market President (MP) of Fayette County will lead and develop the commercial banking team and portfolio, driving growth in the C&I and CRE segments. This role requires strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness to navigate and lead through change. The MP will be involved in strategic decisions and transformational projects, focusing on talent acquisition, development, and retention. Building relationships with community leaders, business executives, and non-profits is essential. The MP will also ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance policies, acting as the First Line of Defense in risk management.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Community Bank has adopted a 40-hour work week. Some flexibility in hours is necessary based on the location assignments, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Travel:
Travel for this position is includes client meetings and training.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and previous commercial banking experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Strong clerical skills, good communication skills and professional appearance are necessary for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mission Alignment
- Support the Bank's mission to partner with individuals, businesses, and communities to realize their dreams, protect their financial futures, and improve their lives.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead the Fayette County Commercial Banking team.
- Hire, train, and manage team members.
- Maintain and grow the current portfolio.
- Mentor and support the team, fostering a culture of relationship banking.
- Implement a disciplined sales process and ensure CRM utilization.
- Collaborate with Credit and Operations to automate loan origination and with Finance to implement a pricing model.
- Work with the CCO on credit decisions and identify new market opportunities.
- Strategic Growth and Product Development:
- Expand non-interest income through enhanced treasury products and sales.
- Develop commercial products in collaboration with credit, operations, finance, risk, and compliance.
- Maximize revenue through process integration and cross-selling.
- Community and Organizational Leadership:
- Engage with community leaders, business executives, and non-profits.
- Align commercial marketing plans with strategic goals.
- Lead by example in business development and risk management.
