Salary: $120000 - $135000 / year
Bay Area based educational non-profit organization seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee the operational accounting function over AP, AR/Billing and Payroll, reporting into the Controller. This role will manage a team of 6 and requires a manager who has excellent experience mentoring and developing their team. This is a hybrid role working onsite 2-3 days per week.

Requirements:
- 8+ years experience in AP, AR and Payroll at a mid to large sized company.
- Supervisory experience with teams of 5+ and a proven ability to motivate and mentor employees.
- Experience with the monthly close process including the review of account reconciliations and the ability to coach and train staff on how to prepare account reconciliations.
- Strong ERP experience and the ability to navigate through a new accounting system.
- Must have an interest in working for a non-profit in the educational space.
