JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Art Director is responsible for the development and execution of high-quality brand and creative materials for leading-edge marketing through new and existing print, digital, and video products for Miles Partnership clients. The Senior Art Director will also execute tasks relative to timelines, budgets, and strategic-resource planning, as well as day-to-day operations of their design team. The Senior Art Director will also have the accountability of managing, mentoring, and developing other art-team members within the group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops creative vision and direction of integrated brand, advertising, and marketing projects (with support from creative leaders).
  • Proofs designs to ensure they're ready for review by team; performs the final QA on art elements for production.
  • Independently manages and directs small-scale photo and video shoots.
  • Assists Creative Director in management and direction of large-scale and brand-centric photo and video shoots.
  • Leads brainstorm sessions for campaign development (ads, guides, print, digital, broadcast, OOH, social media, etc.).
  • Develops photo/video-shoot mood boards, video/commercial storyboards, and production creative (wardrobe, locations, talent, script, look, feel, tone, etc.).
  • Leads creative discussions, conceptual designs, and campaign ideation, and presents concepts to client teams/clients.
  • Manages and mentors Graphic Designers, Senior Graphic Designers, and Art Directors.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • BA, BFA preferred. Relevant experience will be considered.
  • 7+ years of print and interactive-design work experience; at least 7 years of experience working in cross-functional teams within an agency; at least 5 years of experience working on advertising campaigns.
  • Expert portfolio displaying beautifully crafted branding, advertisements, well-developed graphics, excellent typography skills, and clean, compelling design.
  • Expert in the latest versions of applicable programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Procreate, etc. Ability to develop expert understanding of new programs, tools, and resources.
  • Expert-level understanding of design principles, project-management principles, and managing expectations.
  • Ability to design and execute design concepts with rationale from concept to final production.
  • Understands agency business and financial models.
  • Understands how media works (how media is bought and sold).


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Occasional intra- and/or inter-state travel required, sometimes requiring an overnight stay.


LOCATION: We are open to a remote candidate located anywhere in the US or an in-office candidate based in our Sarasota, FL/Lakewood, CO office. #LI-Remote

COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $90,000 DOE
