Job Description
Under general supervision of the Department Manager, manages and supervises the project management and construction functions associated with major electric, gas, environmental and facilities construction projects. This includes planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Project Managers and Construction Manger to assure completion of projects on schedule and within scope and budget. All projects are to be delivered in accordance with applicable specifications, drawings, safety, environmental and quality requirements. May oversee and directly manage projects as well.

Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Engineering, Science/Technology, Project Management or Construction Mangement and 8 years Related experience in utility operations or construction or
- Master's Degree and 6 years Related experience in utility operations or construction
- Familiarity with utility system design and construction Required
- Understands the construction and operation of gas and electric delivery systems Required
- Must have detailed knowledge of specifications, drawings, contract documents, prints and diagrams. Required
- Strong leadership skills and prior supervisory experience or leading project teams Required
- Must have demonstrated experience in presentations and having given presentations and public speaking Required
- Must be well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments and deadlines. Required
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to effectively interact with customers, support staff, and various levels of management. Required
- Must have strong analytical, technical, interpersonal and leadership skills Required
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) is required. Other tools such as Primavera or Oracle ERP are highly desirable Required
- Must be creative and have the ability to work in a team atmosphere. Required
- Driver's License Required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) 1 Year Preferred
- Other: Professional Engineer license Preferred
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
