Job Description
NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking candidates with experience in the management of Critical Time Intervention (CTI) teams who has demonstrated strategic leadership skills, exceptional communication and organization ability, and who have driven projects to successful completion. The Critical Time Intervention Director will work both independently and as a collaborative partner in a fast-paced environment.
Under the direction of the Senior Advisor for Behavioral Health Policy and Communications, the Critical Time Intervention Director will be responsible for planning and implementing four CTI teams across the NYC Health + Hospitals system. This position will provide support, guidance and technical assistance to facilities as they are standing up teams and support the teams as they begin operations. Additionally, this position will be the liaison with other CTI teams that express interest in working within the NYC Health + Hospital system.
Minimum Qualifications
1. A Masters Degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Health Care Specialization, Social Work, Psychology or a related field; and, Six (6) years of increasingly responsible experience in hospital or regulatory agency administration, with particular emphasis on development and evaluation of mental health delivery services, or,
2. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Working collaboratively with facility staff plan and implement four Critical Time Intervention teams. This will also include managing multiple project timelines across various stakeholders at multiple levels including executive staff.
- Develop plans to ensure that sustainability of the CTI programming at the facility to include guidance on Medicaid billing.
- Provide support, guidance and technical assistance to facility staff in the operations of CTI teams.
- Manage executive-level engagement on CTI teams. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate executive-level meetings and manage time effectively. Identify and escalate key issues for executive input and consideration as the program evolves.
- Manage internal and external relationship to design and implement the program. Collaborate with executive and staff-level team across Central Office and at the facilities to ensure alignment with strategic and operational priorities.
- Consult, collaborate and guide team to develop policies, procedures and processes
- Collaborate with central office on program goals and timelines
- Ensure CTI practices comply with city, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with other organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to coordinate services of other CTI teams across the city working within the NYC Health + Hospitals system.
- Serve as a liaison between the program, the community-based providers, and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Represent the office in internal and external meetings on Critical Time Intervention
- All other duties, as required.

2. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.
Department Preferences
- LCSW, Psy.D, or Ph.D. preferred
- Clinical background strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Requirements:
- Eight years of full-time experience planning, developing and monitoring programs, systems and/or procedures in support of administrative management initiatives, five years of which must have been in a responsible managerial or supervisory capacity

- Knowledge of fundamentals of hospital organization, administration and standards, regulations and laws applicable to hospital operations.
- Knowledge of principles of business and personnel administration, management functions and support service functions and ability to direct and supervise personnel.
- Experience with crisis work, serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use.
- Familiarity with high-risk patients and cultural sensitivity in community settings. \
- Demonstrated leadership skills in the clinical environment
