High School diploma or the equivalent. Associate's degree or higher preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in automobile sales, banking, or other types of sales and financing required. One year of supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, supervisory abilities, organizational skills, and managerial talents are a must. Individual must have the ability to operate the department at a profit according to the dealership guidelines. A valid driver's license required.
Working Conditions:
The Finance Manager will work at a desk in the sales department. She/He will move about the sales area to work with sales personnel. May occasionally work outdoors for tent sales etc. Work is performed at a desk in an office setting. Will work with a computer and organize paperwork for most of the shift. Will have personal interaction with customers. Hours and schedule at the discretion of the General Sales Manager. Holiday, evening, and weekend hours may be required.

- To ensure that the details of finance and insurance transactions are handled appropriately with customer, sales personnel, and finance sources.
Relationships:

Responsibilities and Authority:
- Provide customer with vehicle financing.
- Sell customer additional dealer-approved warranties, maintenance agreements, and other products.
- Maintain high customer CSI (must exceed zone average question 13).
- Strive for harmony and teamwork among employees and with other departments in dealership.
- Maintain performance results consistent with the current expectations levels.
- Attend regular manager meetings and training.
- Report any company policy and procedure violations to HR Director, Finance Director, or your General Manager.
- Train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all sales department staff.
- Lead by example (always maintain a positive "can do" attitude).
- Conduct meeting with department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest and customer satisfaction.
- Any customer question or concern (not necessarily a complaint) regarding any products purchased should immediately be offered a "no questions asked" refund. You should also make the Director or your General Manager aware of any inquiries regarding optional products. Anyone seen giving the customer a "hard time" or puts a customer off regarding a cancellation may be terminated without notice.
- Only sell Kelley Automotive approved products. The Director must approve any other product.
- Falsification of any documentation will result in immediate termination.
- No finance manager is to receive any incentives, spiffs or "gifts" from any vendor, financial institution, etc. without approval from the Director.
- 100% of all deals will be delivered using the menu selling system (no exceptions). The menu package chosen by the customer must be circled and signed by the customer.
- Interview 100% of the customers at the point of sales in the showroom if possible.
- Verify payoff and insurance with the customer at the time of delivery when possible or first thing the following morning.
- Must disclose to every customer, the term, rate, payment, price and all products sold.
- All paperwork should be completed without any blank spaces prior to signing.
- No deal is to be delivered without a privacy notice or a rescission agreement.
- Every customer will receive full and meaningful disclosure on all federal truth and lending requirements.
- All deals must be turned over to accounting by the following morning of delivery no exceptions.
- All monies, and checks must be receipted and a copy given to customer (you are responsible for it at that time; if you lose you will reimburse the company).
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with customers to encourage referral and repeat business.
- Serve as a liaison with Lender representatives.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management.
