Position Summary
The Director of PMC Operations is responsible for a variety of operational departments at Pelham Medical Center:
Locally managed departments: Guest Services, Patient Transport, Gift Shop, Volunteer Services, Food and Nutrition Services, Clinical Nutrition, Materials Management, Chaplain/Pastoral Care
System departments (local liaison): Patient Access Services, Health Information Management, Imaging Services, Laboratory Services, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, Information Technology

Minimum Requirements
Education
- MHA or MBA
Experience
- 3-5 years of healthcare experience with increasing levels of responsibility, including supervision/management, over that time
- Financial analyses and business development skills
- Project management experience and skills
- Must be proficient in the use of Windows/ MS Office and have excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Core Job Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the organization's operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with the established goals, objectives, and policies for the Hospital and System.
- Follows direction set by the PMC President and System Executive Staff.
- Implements programs to advance the organization in all System imperatives.
- Provides direction, constructive feedback, and structure for operating units.
- May participate in developing policy and strategic plans.
- Provide project management leadership for a variety of areas (construction, quality/performance improvement, etc.).
- Provide financial support, guidance, and analysis for various business development projects.
- Manages, coaches, and develops staff. Through appropriate management practices, creates a hospital climate to motivate employees to highest performance and builds commitment.
- Supports various System efforts as required.
