Summary:
The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT-based project.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
PMI or PMP certification preferred.
5-7 years experience required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
Manage day-to-day support of creative content production and operations for in-store experiences.
Work cross-functionally with creative, technology, retail operations, marketing, and HQ to facilitate the launch of digital solutions supporting go-to-market initiatives.
Manage day-to-day relationships with agency partners and internal teams to track projects.
Lead internal approvals, documentation, and communication across field, channel, and account teams throughout the project lifecycle.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate project planning and timeline management in partnership with external agencies and other internal teams
Assist creative team in coordination of stakeholder reviews and approvals; manage change requests with agency partners
Document, track, and help prioritize projects, communicating status and risk to key stakeholders
Create and publish project updates and overview materials
Draft project kickoff documents for defined work streams and initiatives
Work with product and marketing teams to secure creative assets to be used in digital solutions
Assist in UAT and issue tracking
Maintain content calendar for ongoing updates across digital signage networks
BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
10+ years of project management experience, preferably in digital marketing, consumer electronics and/or retail
Superior project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans, adapt plans based on shifting priorities, and escalate to leadership when necessary
Understanding of creative, design, and technology processes
Strong experience with JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite (esp. PowerPoint)
Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
