Purpose:

We're seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead our grassroots mobile application project, transforming our e-commerce vision into an intuitive, high-performance app. Your role will drive the strategic alignment of mobile and e-commerce goals, ensuring projects are completed seamlessly from ideation to launch. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of our digital transformation, impacting both our customers and business.

Location Requirements: Onsite at our Sandy Springs, GA Corporate Office 4 days a week, working from home Fridays.

What That Looks Like Day-to-Day:

  • Drive End-to-End Execution: Lead the project lifecycle for our new mobile application, coordinating with engineering, UX/UI design, and marketing teams. Ensure alignment with e-commerce objectives and customer-centric experiences.
  • Release Mastery: Strategize and oversee mobile app releases, prioritizing updates and managing app store deployments. Focus on scheduling and timing to ensure all deployment aspects are covered, resulting in successful, bug-free launches without disruptions.
  • Real-Time Project Tracking: Utilize tools like Monday.com to provide clear, actionable insights into project progress. Communicate updates effectively to technical teams and senior leadership.
  • Manage Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with product, marketing, and technology leaders to ensure the app delivers on strategic business goals. Translate technical complexities into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Risk Mitigation and Issue Resolution: Proactively identify risks to project timelines and app performance. Use retrospectives and iterative planning to improve project outcomes and minimize disruptions continuously.
  • Measure and Optimize: Use metrics such as sprint velocity and release schedules to monitor project health. Implement continuous feedback loops to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Requirements:
  • 4-5 years managing mobile app development projects, with a strong background in e-commerce. Proven track record in delivering customer-facing applications with high performance and security standards.
  • Methodology Proficiency: Expert knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies, adept at blending these approaches to suit project requirements.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with mobile development tools and frameworks and experience using project management software like Monday.com and JIRA.
  • Exceptional Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in business-friendly language and provide concise updates tailored for executives.
  • Release Management: Proven experience coordinating app releases, managing app store processes, and ensuring timely and effective updates.
  • Problem Solver: Skilled in risk management and process optimization, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve project workflows.

  • Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications, with hands-on experience managing large-scale mobile app projects.
