Job Summary and Description

Builds and develops collaborations with universities and community organizations to facilitate partnerships, transfer scholarships and additional learning opportunities for identified students. Provides leadership, planning, coordination and implementation of the scholarship program at the College in cooperation with scholarship administrators at the colleges and the District. Manages the supervision, selection, training, monitoring and evaluation of mentorship and other collaborative programs with community businesses, organizations and individuals.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
  • Five years of related experience.
  • Experience in institutional advancement, scholarship administration, financial aid and/or closely related work.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Experience in leadership positions.
  • Managing large events and managing event teams/logistics.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Must have a valid driver license and be insurable through the organization's insurers.


Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
