About the Role
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the job offered or in a construction or cost management-related occupation.

About the Role
- Handle the development of estimates during the design stage of a project, and the development of all the bid documents required to bid the various aspects of a project.
- Coordinate the development of ongoing estimates and value engineering exercises as required during the design period.
- Review and check all design team members invoices and recommend payment as appropriate.
- Attend on site requisition meeting to review the value of construction work completed.
- Review final construction requisitions and recommend payment as appropriate.
- Manage the review of all requested change orders, evaluate, and make recommendations.
- Negotiate as required to agree a true value for the change.
- Coordinate the development of monthly cost reports for clients.
- May telecommute. 50% domestic travel required.
