About this opportunity:

We are excited to announce an opening for the Head of Regional Treasury Center (RTC) Americas. The main responsibility for the role is to lead and manage Treasury activities across the legal entities within the unit's geographical area of responsibility. This includes managing a team of Treasury professionals, securing payment readiness, manage financial risks, secure compliance with Group Treasury policies, stay current with market trends, governmental regulations and support the business with Treasury expertise advice.
Another key responsibility is to provide input to strategic targets and policy formulation, design, and support process optimization as well as drive, implement and adhere to the Treasury & Customer Finance vision of the Group.

What you will do:
  • Responsible to secure that the legal entities meet their payment obligations and have full payment readiness ensuring resilience in any economic scenario.
  • Ensure sufficient short-term liquidity planning to meet daily cash needs.
  • Validate mid-term forecasting to secure the right funding alternatives and minimize cost
  • Mitigate FX risks and perform Balance Sheet hedging
  • Secure that the legal entities have an optimal capital structure (debt vs equity)
  • Centralize cash to the internal bank
  • Optimize the cash position for regulated and restricted markets/currencies to avoid risks and maximize return on temporary surplus cash
  • Optimize the Cash Management Infrastructure in the Legal Entities, securing that payments are automated, and the number of bank accounts are kept to a minimum.
  • Responsible for local bank relations including terms and conditions
  • Ensure that legal entities are compliant with Treasury applicable local regulations
  • Adherence to Group policies, directives and processes.
  • Support the business with Treasury advice to minimize financial risks and deliver solutions to the business (customer and Vendors) with acceptable risk.


The skills you bring:
  • Academic degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in senior positions within a Treasury function
  • Experience with Treasury Systems and knowledge and interest for automation and digitalisation
  • Manager experience in leading global teams preferred.
  • Strong understanding of international financial markets and banking products and a good sense of market information
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to interact crossfunctionally and with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage process changes and support strategic goals
