THEROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Generating insights from the data and developing AI models to automate decisions and predict outcomes are key deliverables of the CoE. We are looking for an advanced data & reporting analyst to work with our Individual Insurance business to create & maintain visual dashboards, generate insights that have been identified as important to GreenShield's individual sales success, but also very importantly for the candidate to explore and propose the art of the possible with Data and AI.
  • Learn the business domain of our Individual Direct to Consumer and Group Conversion insurance programs.
  • Partner with the Individual Sales and Marketing teams to develop metrics, frameworks, dashboards, and forecasts to support business oversight and ambitious net sales growth targets across multiple distribution channels with automation where relevant.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of marketing and sales campaigns, from lead generation through to engagement, conversion, retention and portfolio expansion.
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data and AI to drive business outcomes in the Individual Insurance business unit.
  • Analyze data to extract and share insights that help drive the right decisions, with key focus on optimizing performance across the entire customer journey, budget management, and overall delivery of campaign or FTE performance.
  • Design and support a test & learn environment, conducting geo-experiments, A/B tests etc. to measure the impact of online and offline advertising, lead quality, operational sales effectiveness. This includes knowledge of matched market tests, holdout groups, and incrementality measurement techniques.
  • Develop correlations, statistical or machine learning models to generate insights or predictions and apply to the sales operation and marketing teams campaigns and tools (e.g. marketing Mix models, propensity models for targeting & sales lead optimization, frameworks to illustrate diminishing returns).
  • Maintain or innovate on existing reports and ensure consistent delivery timelines and data accuracy.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable analysis and own end-to-end analytics, and effectively communicate complex analytics to a broader audience in writing and presentation formats.
  • Develop and maintain a firm understanding of business needs, drivers, strategies, and targets and serve as a member of the Individual D2C sales management team.
  • Design and deliver on business requests for specialized reports or deep dives into the drivers or levers influencing the individual business.
  • Lead use cases related to data science and advanced analytics.
  • Establish channel and budget forecasts, with speed and ownership, suggesting tactics and strategies to adjust quickly based on learnings, opportunities and business objectives.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in data science, computer science, engineering, math, statistics, physical sciences, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience as data scientist or advanced analytics expert.
  • 2+ years in data analytics with experience developing visualizations in tools like Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Experience using data science and advanced analytics techniques using Python, R, SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures.
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning and advanced statistical techniques.
  • Expert level skills using data visualization solutions and presenting data to stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • Experience with variety of on prem and cloud data frameworks and components ideally GCP.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel while managing constantly changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM and Telephony systems.
  • Experience with marketing platforms like campaign manager, google analytics etc.
