Job Location: Atlanta, GA/ Chicago, IL/ NJ

Job Responsibilities

• This role involves supporting the Wholesale Business Area within the Excess/Surplus & Specialty (ESS) BSA.
• You will collaborate closely with the Wholesale application team and the BI Collective team to identify data elements and create mapping documents.
• These documents will ensure accurate data migration into the Stage and CDS for reporting and downstream client Financial Systems.
• As a Data Solution Analyst, you'll translate functional data and requirements into solutions for consumption and use by the respective business or technology request or leveraging a variety of approved technologies.
• The technologies include (but are not limited to) Paxata, Tableau, Micro Strategy Business Objects, R or other reporting and visualization solutions being considered for operationalization.
• You can guide others to leverage self-service techniques for business reporting and analytics.

Required Skills

• Over 3 years of design and development experience with SQL and Data Analysis
• Proficiency in data warehousing data integration and data modelling
• Experience in developing rules and mappings for data quality and accuracy in Informatica
• Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries
• Experience working with Guidewire Insurance Now application
• Experience with DB2 (WINS data) MySQL (Guidewire Datawarehouse) and Oracle a plus
• Strong troubleshooting skills for data issues
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Data modelling tools like IDA Erwin a plus
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Proven ability to handle production issues
• Experience working with Policy/Claims Data Elements.
