About the Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Managed Medical Assistance (MMA) Care Management to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of care management programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our members. They will also be responsible for managing a team of care managers and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our members. The Director of MMA Care Management will play a critical role in driving the success of our organization.

The Director of MMA Care Management will utilize their strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team of care managers and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. They will also use their knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards to ensure compliance and drive the development of effective care management programs. Additionally, the successful candidate will leverage their experience in care management and healthcare administration to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care management programs and make recommendations for improvement. Finally, they will use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex healthcare challenges and drive the success of our organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Active RN, LPN or LCSW license
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in care management or a related field
- Experience managing a team of healthcare professionals
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field
- Experience working in a managed care environment
- Certification in care management or a related field
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement care management programs to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our members
- Manage a team of care managers and provide guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care management programs and make recommendations for improvement
