The Dental Clinical Manager will be responsible for supervising clinical staff, performing routine clinical duties, training assistants chairside, maintaining implant and clinical inventory and assisting with other tasks involved in providing superior patient care.
- Serves as the direct supervisor for dental surgical assistants.
- Assists Practice Administrator with recruiting and hiring of dental surgical assistant members.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the clinical team.
- Establishes and implements effective workplace procedures for the dental surgical assistant team.
- Develops strategy and vision for team and patient satisfaction.
- Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA Guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with state regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with all members of the office team
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Dental Assistant license required
- Radiation certification required
- BLS certification required.
- Four or more years of related experience required.
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work as part of a comprehensive dental office team.
- Ability to lead a team of dental professionals and paraprofessionals.
- Ability to adhere to the professional code of ethics.
- Excellent organizational skills and administrative abilities.
- High level understanding of all clinical job functions in a dental office setting.
