Position: Sales Representative - International Central America and Mexico
Location: Remote, with travel as required - 50%-75% travel
Reports To: SVP LATAM Sales
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Representative to drive sales and market expansion in the International LATAM market, The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing relationships with law enforcement and military forces, understanding their unique requirements, and positioning our products as the preferred choice for protection.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan, targeting State, municipal, and national law enforcement agencies in Central America and Mexico, focusing on increasing product adoption and customer retention.
Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the Central America and Mexico market.
Identify customer needs and align them with our products to provide tailored protection solutions.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to personnel and procurement teams.
Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Marketing, and Product Management) to communicate market feedback and ensure products meet client requirements.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and account management.
Stay up to date with industry trends, local procurement guidelines, and competitor products.
Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and market analysis to the SVP LATAM Sales.
Participate in training and demonstrating and understanding of export regulations and the Foreign Corruption Policy Act.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in personal protection, body armor, tactical equipment, or related fields.
Proven track record of successful sales within international sales or a similar market segment.
In-depth knowledge of federal procurement processes and compliance standards.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with LATAM clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling to agencies such as the national police, local police, or military organizations.
Understanding of body armor standards (e.g., NIJ certifications) and related product technologies.
Bi-lingual English and Spanish communications and writing skills.
